For our New Year’s Baking
A big box filled with a variety of grains unexpectedly arrived the other day: heirloom lentils, along with flours from revived varieties of barley, wheat, and rye. From the biodynamic Trinity Farm, they are grown with loving care in the green plains of Thessaly, in central Greece. Grains are supposed to bring good luck and prosperity in the New Year, and we can’t wait to enjoy them, hoping and wishing for all sorts of good things in 2022!
