Couch grass tea:
Simmer for 10 minutes 2 teaspoons of cut rhizome in 1 cup of water.
Strain.
Drink 3 times a day.

The couch grass grows here in Agia Triada, Farsala, Thessaly, in our land of three generations. It is hand-picked, washed and dried naturally to maintain its high quality.
Couch grass is characterized as antiphlogistic, aperient, demulcent, diuretic, emollient, lithontripic, tonic.
Couch grass roots contain starch and enzymes and are quite sweet . Although its edible use is limited, couch grass is a valuable medicinal herb with a gentle remedial effect, tolerated by the body with no side effects.
Uses include the treatment of a number of urinary , gastrointestinal and immune system disorders, arthritis, skin diseases, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol. Depending on the specific purpose, it is taken internally or externally. Domestic animals have also been reported as benefiting from its use (cats and dogs).
The most common form of using couch grass is as a tea.
